Dos & Don'ts for STEPUPIFY Battery operated Power Weeder:
Dos:
1. Take break of about 10 minutes after working for around 45 minutes to 1 hour as it is run by a PMDC motor drawing high current.
2. Proper grease should be applied in the bearings in weeder gear box for smooth performance.
3. When machine gets heated up, it should be given sufficient time for cooling.
4. Make sure to switch off the MCB at the time of cleaning of blades.
5. Always keep a firm grip on both handles while the blades are moving and/or the motor is running.
6. Always maintain a firm footing and good balance.
7. Thoroughly inspect the area where equipment is to be used and remove all objects that can be thrown by the machine.
8. While working, always wear substantial footwear and long trousers.
9. Always wear ear and eye protection.
10. Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to ensure the equipment runs in safe working condition.
11. Use extreme caution when pulling the machine towards you.
12. Always inspect your unit before each use and ensure that all handles, guards and fasteners are secure, operating, and in place.
Don'ts:
1. Don’t connect any other battery other than specified one.
2. Precaution should be taken that battery connection to motor should be done in switch off condition.Otherwise it will lead to sparking & burning of connectors.
3. Maintain safe distance from running blades to ensure safety.
4. Don’t use the weeder machine with one hand.
5. Don’t overreach. Always keep a good footing at all times.
6. Don’t run with the machine, walk slowly.
7. Don’t work on excessively steep slopes.
8. Don’t attempt to clear blades while they are moving.
9. Don’t allow children or incapable people to operate this weeder machine.
10. Don’t attempt to repair this weeder machine. Have repairs done by a skilled technician.

1.What are the battery backup options and warranty on supplied battery along with battery life ?
- 25.6 Volt 18 Ah Lithium Ferrous Phosphate Battery , 3 - 3.5 hours battery backup, battery weight – 4 Kg., 3 years warranty on battery, Battery Life – 7 – 10 years* (2000 cycles of charging). This battery can be charged by supplied 5A LFP Battery charger in 2.5-3 hours.
Note: Please note that battery backup may vary depending on the load conditions on the machine. You can purchase 2 pc batteries to increase the working hours by charging one battery while other battery on use in machine.
3.Can I vary the speed/rpm of the machine ?
- No, you can’t vary the speed of the machine. Only, the switch for On and Off operation can be done using MCB switch on the machine.
The machine works at maximum rpm as per the load conditions and hence there is no need of speed varying by the user.
4. What are the safety measure available on the machine to prevent overloading of the motors and hence burn out ?
- There is a cicuit breaker switch as well as MCB switch to automatically cut-off power to the battery mini tiller in case of overload.
5. What are the operational safety precautions for using this mini tiller machine?
- Never put your hands or legs near the moving blades of the rotavator to prevent any accidental injury.
6. What is the weight of the machine ?
- Total weight of the machine including battery and charger is 34-36 Kg. - Battery needs to be hung on the back using provided backpack battery holder and the battery can also be hung on the machine handle bar as per the comfort and choice of the farmer. The design is ergonomic for comfort with eco-friendly performance.
7. Is the machine waterproof ?
- Though machine’s construction is such that it makes it waterproof but don’t submerge the machine in water. It will damage the electrical parts. The battery holder with battery shall be protected from rainfall during operation by putting a waterproof plastic cover over it while using it during mild rainfall.
8. Let us know on the Guaranty /Warranty details on the machine.
- 1 year warranty on the motor box - 1 year manufacturer warranty on charger - 3 year warranty on LFP battery ** There is no warranty for the physical damage of the parts. Also proper polarity shall be maintained while hooking up the charger with battery and the machine with battery. However , we provide proper connectors to disable accidental opposite polarity connection of battery and charger .No warranty claim will be entertained if battery and charger is connected in opposite polarity by the user.
